This rope switch adopts a rotating cam structure. When the lever rotates, the cam rotates accordingly, causing the micro switch to operate, output the switch quantity, and send out alarm signals and shutdown signals. The reset method of the rope switch Type I is automatic reset. After the tension of the pull rod is released, the cam structure automatically resets to its original state. Type II is manually reset, and the camshaft rotates to a certain angle and self-locking position. The cam can only return to its original state after manually resetting the handle. This device adopts a waterproof and dustproof sealing design, which effectively prevents water and dust from entering the casing. The distance between the pull rope switches should not exceed 35m. The distance between the switch and the head drum or tail drum should be 10-20m. The pull rope switches are connected with plastic coated steel wire ropes. The tension of the steel wire rope should be appropriate, and a rope support ring should be installed every 3-4 meters. The rope support ring should be welded to the middle frame of the belt conveyor.
